The FA1800 is the latest Failure Analysis tool, for evaluating the shear and wire pull strength of materials and bonding methods associated with semiconductor dies, ball and surface mounted passive elements.

X-Ray System

The Amfis Axis Series is a high resolution, real-time X-Ray system for identifying, quantifying and documenting manufacturing defects in a wide range of products. It uses an X-Ray tube and image intensifier to examine a test object which may be manipulated along the X, Y, Z, R and Tilt axis with X-Ray source voltage varying from 30kV to 400kV and comes with various cabinet choices. All operations are controlled by a Pentium III PC with Windows 98 software and is equipped to meet the needs of both engineers and operators.
